Esther Norris Rawls

FAIRHOPE, AL   Esther Norris Rawls, age 92, a native of Monroe County , AL , and resident of Fairhope , AL , passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011.   She was born in Frisco City , April 4, 1918, to William Purry and Nettie Belle Wasdin Norris.  After her marriage, she resided in Semmes, Millry, and retired to Fairhope.   Mrs. Rawls is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Albert L. Rawls, Sr., grandson, Stacey Shannon Dixon, siblings, Ervin Norris, William Norris, Lois Morris, Benny Norris, and Carol Norris.   She is survived by her 2 daughters:  Annette Rawls (Jim) Dixon of Millry, Marilyn Rawls Turner of Robertsdale,   Son:  Albert L. Rawls, Jr. of Fairhope,   5 grandchildren, Anita Alford (Terry) Waters, Elaine Rawls (Danny) Ladner, Joseph Wayne (Wendy) Alford, Robby Lynn Dixon, Jimmy Christopher Dixon,   5 great grandchildren, Jessica Dale Waters, Justin Anthony Waters, Megan Nicole Ladner, Joseph Caleb Alford, Lauren Elizabeth Alford,   2 brothers, Milford Norris, Carl Norris,   2 sisters, Ruth Morris, Hazel Norris,   And a host of nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011, from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL, at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.   Interment will be at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC 19698 GREENO ROAD FAIRHOPE, AL 36532
