Robert Wilburn Chapman

CHAPMAN FAIRHOPE, AL Robert Wilburn "Bob" Chapman passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Fairhope at the age of 84. He was a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope. Mr. Chapman was a US Navy veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict. He flew to Washington, DC in September 2010 with Honor Flight South Alabama. He is survived by two sons, Curt Chapman of Fairhope, Robert Chapman of Palestine, TX; three brothers, Carl Chapman of Mobile, Roy Chapman of Satsuma, Marshall Chapman of Hot Springs Village, AR, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Chapman will also be remembered with love by the DelSignore and Flake families of Pensacola, FL. Mr. Chapman was preceeded in death by his wife, Alma Jean Chapman. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Hospital Auxiliary, Fairhope, AL.
