DAPHNE, AL Mr. Leo Frank Carroll, Sr. was born to the late Deacon Ishmael Carroll, Sr., and the late Rosie L. Padgett Carroll, on March 16, 1934 in Spanish Fort, AL. God called him to rest on Sunday, May 1, 2011. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Leona Harris, Olivette Williams, Viola Autry, Mary Carroll, and two brothers, Ishmael Carroll, Jr. and Melvin Carroll. Leo leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Dorothy, of 59 years, four sons, Leo Frank (Vanessa ) Carroll, Jr. of Decatur, AL, Robert (Phyllis) Carroll of Daphne, AL, Alvin (Tracy) Carroll of Fairhope, AL, Sergeant First Class Kevin (Mildred) Carroll of Daphne, AL, currently serving a tour of duty in Afghanistan, five daughters, Patricia (Essex) Crawford of Montrose, AL, Sherry Rudolph of Fairhope, AL, Shirley (Larry) Thomas of Holts Summit, MO, Frenchie (Mark) James of Daphne, AL, Sheldon Archie of San Diego, CA, three sisters, Sarah McKissic of Spanish Fort, AL, Elizabeth Caples of Daphne, AL, Theresa Jemison of Ardmore, PA, two brothers, John Carroll of Spanish Fort, AL, James Carroll of Ardmore, PA, 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and close friends John Baker and John Phelan. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL. A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 11:00 am, from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Interment will be at Jubilee Memorial Gardens in Daphne, AL.
