DAPHNE Deborah Chandler Waite, age 58, a native of Mobile and a resident of Daphne, was born on February 2, 1953 to Frank & Vergia Chandler, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2011 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Chandler and her sister Jennifer Chandler Lunceford. She leaves beautiful and loving memories to her husband and best friend of 38 years, Leroy Waite; two daughters, Tracie Waite Norman of Daphne, Leigh (Scott) Quinby of Loxley; her mother Vergia Barclay Chandler and sister Sandra Chandler Kercher both of Mobile. Debbie, known as “Sunshine” to her grandchildren, was very loving and doting to Blake Nicholas, Zachary Nicholas, Jaxson Quinby , Charlesten Quinby; and several nieces, nephews, friends and relatives. As an accomplished chef, her culinary talents were enjoyed by her family and many friends. She loved life and gave so much to others. She always did for her family and friends before herself. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Celebration of her life gathering will be held immediately after the service in the fellowship hall.Private family gravesite burial will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile. In lieu of flowers, her request was to have donations be made in her name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital: St. Jude Holiday Card Program P. O.
