Robert Emile Linscomb

FOLEY, AL Robert Emile Linscomb, age 85, a native of Freeport, TX and a resident of Foley, AL passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. Mr. Linscomb retired from the U.S. Army in 1993 as a Missile Technician Trainer.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Mr. Linscomb was very active in the American Legion Post 99. the VFW and was a former member of the Coast Guard Reserve Unit.  He was a former volunteer at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Mollie Barron Linscomb of Foley; son, Mark Linscomb of Elberta; daughter, Cheryl (Ray) Henderson of Hoover; four grandchildren, Nicole Yoerg, Tayler and Emily Henderson and Jennifer Degan;  two great grandchildren, Kirsten and Loren Degan. A Memorial service will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Foley at 4:00 pm. In lieu of  flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 506 N.
