Edith Toles Miner

MIDLAND , MI   Edith Toles Miner, 92, of Midland , MI , died on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Tendercare of Midland.   Edith was born on Dec. 6, 1912 in Mark Tree, Arkansas to the late Samantha (Brown) and Oliver Toles.   Edith married her sweetheart Howard Miner in Flint , MI in 1935. He predeceased her in Oct. of 2000. Edith worked for Dow Chemical and Dow Corning as a pastry Chef.   She loved babysiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Edith also loved playing games, quilting and crocheting. Edith is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Robert) Schlosser of Midland, Fran Dunning of Weston, OH; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Edith Miner of Midland; fifteen grandchildren and many great and   great, great grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by her daughter Ollie Marie Young; son, Myron "Hank" Miner; granddaughter, Susan Myers Hepler, 4 sisters; 4 brothers; son-in-law Chuck Dunning and daughter-in-law Monita Miner. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
