Earle Edwards Murphy, Jr.

SUMMERDALE , AL   Earle Edwards Murphy, age 89, a native of New Landon, CT and a resident of Summerdale , AL , passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 .   Earle served in the Army in WWII as an MP. He was a Probation Officer for the State of Connecticut of most of his civilian career. In his retirement, he loved to travel with his motor home and enjoyed a good game of pickle ball where he lived at the Rainbow Plantation in Summerdale , AL .   Mr. Murphy is survived by three sons, Earle E. Murphy III of San Francisco , CA , Bruce D. Murphy of Monson , MA and Steven J. Murphy of Saratoga Springs , NY , one daughter, Susan E.
