Alan Robert McCafferty

SPANISH FORT Alan Robert McCafferty, age 30, a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away, Wednesday, July 25, 2012.   Alan was a member of the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.  He graduated from Daphne High School in 2000, and also graduated from the Corrections Academy in 2009.  He was employed by the Alabama Department of Corrections as a corrections officer. He is survived by his wife, Dianne McCafferty, sons, Branson and Hayden McCafferty; parents, Dale and Pam McCafferty of Spanish Fort; sister, Amy McCafferty Sanders and her husband Jerome, nephews, Jackson and John Sanders, all of Valley, AL; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Doris McCafferty of Carrollton, AL; maternal grandparents, Kent and Rosa Simpson of Reform, AL; aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort, Friday, July 27, 2012, at 3:00pm.
