Jack David Armstrong

ARMSTRONG GULF SHORES, AL Jack David Armstrong, age 75, a Native of Columbiana, AL and a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 . He was preceded in death by his father, Lafayette Armstrong and mother, Agnes Armstrong. He is survived by his wife Brenda  Fore Armstrong of Gulf Shores, AL; son, J. David Armstrong , Jr.(Antonia) ;  daughters, Janet Gill (James, Jr.), Renea Broussard, Shirley Bailey (Jackie), Peggy Martin, and numerous grand and great grandchildren. He worked with Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, retired from Alabama State Trooper’s and retired Chief of Police, City of Elberta. He loved serving and helping people, never met a stranger, and was a true friend to all who knew him. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. Friday, October 12, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
