Margaret Pauline Sutherland Koster

KOSTER DAPHNE, ALABAMA Margaret Pauline Sutherland Koster, born on Christmas Day in 1916 in Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at a local health care facility. She was a founding member of Providence United Methodist Church where she was active and sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and tag sales. She also served in WWII as a WAC. Mrs. Koster is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Koster. She  is survived by two sons, Gregory (Diana) Koster of Eastchester, N.Y. and Richard (Carol) Koster of Mandeville, LA; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Payne of Kingwood, TX; three grandchildren, Katharine, Christian and Michael Koster. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00 am at Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Sweet officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Providence United Methodist Church.Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
