Willie Ottis Oden

ODEN SUMMERDALE, AL. Willie Ottis Oden, Age 87, born in Cullman, AL., and a resident of Summerdale, AL., passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at a local health care facility. Mr. Oden retired from the Baldwin County Public School System and was formerly employed at Doering’s Recap Shop. He is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Oden, and two sons, Jerry and Allen Oden. Survivors include two daughters, Mary (Don) Kirkland of Milton, FL and Rebecca Owens of Fairhope, AL; one son Larry (Loraine) Bohannon of Bay Minette, AL; daughter-in-law, Carole Oden of Foley, AL; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 10:00am at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Interment will follow at Lay Cemetery.
