Dorothy Calame

CALAME FAIRHOPE   Dorothy Louise Calame, age 91, native of Huntsville and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013. Mrs. Calame was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved to quilt and was a member of the Loxley Quilt Club. She is survived by her husband, Edwin R. Calame, Sr. of Fairhope, AL;  a son, Edwin R. (Cynthia) Calame, Jr. of Orrville, AL;  a daughter, Colinne C. (Jack W.) Howard of Fairhope;  five grandchildren, Timothy Howard, Ashley Howard, Melanie Howe, Jacolinne Howard, Victoria Howard; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alz.org.
