Christina Armstead Ward

DAPHNE Christina Armstead Ward, age 75, a resident of Daphne, Al., passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013. She is survived by her son, Matt R. Ward, IV; daughter, Valencia W. Rainey; granddaughters, Chanel N. Fields, Shayla L. Rainey, Tiffani N. Kimball; grandson, Courtney B. (Monica) Fields; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary A. Munnerlyn; brother, Matthew (Maldotha) Malone; goddaughters, Erika Y. Ford, Jasmine M. Jones, Jaleesa M. Jones; numerous nieces, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Macedonia Baptist Church, Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 11:00 am.  Mrs. Ward will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am until the service time.
