He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Katherine Haile Allen of Foley, AL;daughter, Faydene Allen Reed of Foley, AL;grandchildren, Cindy Kay Reed Pierce (Stan) of Glen Allen, VA,Ronald Brian Reed (Cindy) of Trussville, AL,Marc Daniel Reed of Foley, AL;great grandchildren, John Pierce or Richmond, VA,Scott Pierce (Ellie) of Arlington, VA,Amanda Pierce of Glen Allen, VA,Jessica Pierce of Glen Allen, VA,Clay Reed of Trussville, AL,Cody Reed of Foley, AL;step great granddaughter, Paula Barnes of Foley, AL;brother, Loyd Allen of Dyess, AR;sisters, Helen Allen Gary of Dyess, AR,Sylvia Allen Franks (Bobby) of Dyess, AR;numerous Nieces and nephews in Arkansa;many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL, Monday, September 1, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the service time.
