Douglas Barre Buchanan, Age 85, a native of Pennsylvania and a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Mary R. Buchanan; a daughter, Susan A. Buchanan both of Fairhope,AL; two grandchildren, Hillary Whipple and Christopher Serwan; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Mr. Buchanan’s life was held at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
