Essie Lee Edwards

Essie Lee Edwards, age 73, a resident of Silverhill, AL, passed on to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. She was a founding member of Little Welcome Missionary Baptist Church. Essie is survived by her daughters, Lela (Charles Knight) Edwards Angie (Michael) Hall and Nettie Edwards, all of Silverhill; sisters, Gertrude (Harvey) Mitchell, and Gloria (Marvin) Williams all of Silverhill; brothers, Frank (Beverly) Townser of Mobile, Andrew Townser of Silverhill, Tony  (Christine) Townser of Mobile, Joseph(Desiree)  Townser of Bay Minette and Allen (Wanda) Townser of Bay Minette; six grandchildren,  Porsha and Taylor Knight, Phillip and Joshua Hall, Alex and Bing Williams; one great grandson, Zephaniah; an adopted grandchild, Elizabess Wright and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, Silverhill, AL.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
