Jeffrey Wayne Ingram, age 58, a resident of Fairhope, died August 26, 2015 in his home in the presence of his family. Jeff was born September 9, 1956 in Atlanta Georgia to Bobby and Ann Ingram. Jeff earned a B.S. in forestry from Auburn University and an M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi. He later accepted a call into Christian ministry and completed his M. Div. at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was nearly finished with his doctoral degree when he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. Jeff has served as the associate pastor and senior adult minister at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope since 2003. Jeff loved God’s people and had a heart for missions. He left an indelible mark on the lives of so many, both in our community and abroad. Simply put, Jeff exemplified Christ. While we mourn the loss of a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend, we praise our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for the wonderful time we were given and the impact Jeff had on our lives. Jeff is survived by his wife, Jean Ingram; daughters, Elisabeth Langley (Shane) and Sarah Jean Warfield (Mitch); son, Zeke Ingram; grandchildren, Ellie Grace Langley, Ford Langley, Ollie Langley, Savanna Ross Warfield, Lois Kate Langley; parents, Bobby J. and Ann (Moore) Ingram; brothers, Greg Ingram and Bruce Ingram; and Aunt, Ellen Ingram. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, Fairhope, Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 12:00 until 2:00 with the service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff’s honor to missions at the First Baptist Church, Fairhope.
