Louise Bender

BENDER ELBERTA, ALABAMA   Louise Augustine Bender, Age 89  , a lifelong resident of Elberta, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015.   Mrs. Bender was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and a lifelong member of the VFW Kichler-Pippen Post 5658.   She is survived by four daughters, Emilie (Bill) Gahnstrom of Topeka, KS, Katherine Suggs of Huntersville,N.C, Martha (Larry) Early of Mobile, AL and Margaret Bender Neubert of Elberta, AL; one sister, Gertrude Baumann of Elberta, AL; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; five great great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews  and friends.   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Elberta from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.   Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 2:00pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church,Elberta.   In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.   Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery.   ARRANGEMENTS BY WOLFE-BAYVIEW FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, INC. 25102 STATE STREET ELBERTA, AL  36530
