ALMS ELBERTA, AL. Raymond L. Alms, age 85, a native of Elberta, AL., passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. Raymond is an Army Veteran who served his country proudly. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Anna Alms, brothers; Arthur H. Alms, Jr., Leon Alms, Fred W. Alms, and Warren Alms. Survivors include his wife Betty Alms, children, John R. (Jackie) Alms, James M. (Latricia) Alms, Cynthia (David) Moore, David E. Alms all of Elberta, AL., eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, brother; John D. (Barbara) Alms of Elberta, AL., many other family and friends.Funeral service will be held from St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM until time of the service. Interment will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
