Benjamin Allen Lucassen

Benjamin Allen Lucassen, age 61, a native of Mobile, AL, and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away as a result of a chronic illness on October 4, 2015. Ben was a 1971 graduate of Fairhope High School and owner of Benco Heating and Air Conditioning. The family is grateful to all those who cared for him during his illness. Ben is preceded in death by his father, Bernard Lucassen and is survived by his mother, Ann Lucassen of Fairhope; his brother, Bernie Lucassen (Sandra) of Gulf Breeze, FL; sister, Barbara Lucassen of Mobile; a niece, Chris Cornelius of Pace, FL; four nephews, Hogan and Micah Lucassen, Vasya and Vladimir Brunk; two great nephews, Drew and Wil Cornelius; friend and sparring partner, Clara Brunk; and numerous cousins. His funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope, AL, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Pallbearers will be Micah Lucassen, Vasya Brunk, Vladimir Brunk, Bob Mannich, Donnie Black, David Lucassen, Roddy Lucassen, and Stephen Cobb. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Ecumenical Ministries, P.O.
