John "Jay" Fields

DAPHNE John Vardaman Fields, age 60, a native of Montgomery, AL., and a resident of Daphne, passed away suddenly, Sunday, November 1, 2015. He was a baseball and football coach for many years with the Daphne City League. John was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. John is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence H. Fields, Sr. and Fredericka Jolly Fields; brother, Joseph Michael Fields. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Fields; sons, Daniel Fields, Nathan Fields , Jeremy Fields; wife of many years, Tracey; granddaughter, Alexis Fields; brothers, Jack (Laura) Fields, George (Joanna) Fields, David (Judi) Fields, Bernie (Traci) Fields, William Fields; one sister, Teresa Allen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Christ The King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.
