Gretchen Dixon Corte

Gretchen Dixon Corte, age 53, resident of Elberta, AL, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015. She attended Bayside Academy where she was a cheerleader. She was a graduate of U.S. A with a major in business communication and a minor in psychology. She was a former vice president of Bay Bank and South Trust Banks. She loved boating, sailing, and playing tennis. She is preceded in death by her father, Forrest Corte, Sr.Gretchen is survived by her daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Lea of Elberta; mother, Dolores Corte of Loxley; brother, Forrest (Pam) Corte, of Loxley; niece, Bryce; nephew, Trevor; many other loving family members and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
