PARKER ELBERTA, AL. Larry Earl Parker, age 54, was born on February 28, 1961 and passed away November 10, 2015. He resided in Perdido Beach, AL and grew up in Detroit, MI. Beloved son of Jeanette Parker. Proud nephew of Bill Parker, Anna (Louis) Bacsikin, and the late Frank (Rosie) Parker, he is also survived by many adored aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Larry loved being around his family and always knew what everybody was up to. He cared so much for his family and friends, especially his mother who took the best care of him. He loved having visitors come over to the house and visitors from out-of-town. Larry always rooted for Detroit sports and wore his Michigan shirts proudly. He worked at ARCBC Workshop in Foley for many years and cherished his friends there. He was a proud active member of Perdido Beach Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing Bingo on Friday nights, going out to eat, catching beads at Mardi Gras, and enjoyed bowling every week with his friends from work. Larry’s smile, hugs, and loving personality will be missed the most. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends from 11am to service time.
