James Norman, Jr.

FAIRHOPE, AL   James Mullins Norman, Jr, age 74, resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church, a graduate of Auburn University in Electrical Engineering and a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is preceded in death by his son, Kent Dawson Norman. Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dilana Gorman Norman; son, Scott Waring Norman (Sandra Parker); grandchildren, Parker Dilan Norman, Lydia James Norman and Ann Marie Norman; daughter-in-law, Sonya Williamson Norman; brother, Dr. Victor Dawson Norman (Kathy); sister, Janice Ruth Alderman (James); other loving family and friends. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairhope United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
