REYNOLDS FOLEY, AL Staff Sergeant Ronald Lee Reynolds age 45, a native of Morehead, Kentucky and a longtime resident of Foley, Al., passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserves and Alabama National Guard. While in the US Army Reserves he participated in the Gulf War during Operation Desert Storm from December 1990 to May 1991 and received the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze service stars. He joined the Alabama National Guard in June 2010 and served with the 31st Signal Company as a Joint Network Node Operator. He was currently assigned to the 226th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. He was employed for over ten years with Pet Sense in Foley, and was recently promoted to store Manager. Ronnie enjoyed living life to the fullest. He had a passion for his military career and the camaraderie with his fellow soldiers. He loved animals and children and never met a stranger. He was a long-term Marshal for Neptune’s Daughters. Preceded in death by his father, Barry Reynolds. Survivors include his wife Sonna Reynolds of Foley, AL., mother, Sandy Nutgrass of Frankfurt, KY., son; Joshua Reynolds , daughter, Zoa Reynolds both of Clearfield, KY.,sister; Tammy Smith of Bristol, TN. ,honorary mother, Linda Robertson, honorary sister, Sheila Welborn, honorary daughter, Chase Welborn, and a host of other loving relatives, friends and military family. Pallbearers will be SGT. Calvin Clark, SGT. Mitchell Brantley, SGT. Chuck Harris, SGT. Adam Frederick, SSG. Fernando Lopez and SFC. William Ginn. The family will receive friends from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Monday, December 7, 2015 at 10:00AM. Graveside will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL., at 1:15pm.
