Bettie Lynn Maddox

MADDOX FOLEY, AL Bettie L. Maddox, age 80, a resident of Foley, AL. passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lifetime member and past Auxiliary President of Elberta VFW, Post 5658, Lifetime member of Foley American Legion, Officer in Civil Air Patrol, licensed EMT, and a volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad Member in Daleville, AL. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde Monroe Maddox. Survivors include her children, Cindy (Edwin) Hines of Foley, AL., Deborah (Gib ) Hixon of Fish River, AL., and Amy (Kevin) Decker of Nixa, MO., Charles “Buddy” (Rhonda) Maddox of Gulfport, MS., sisters; Bonnie Skiles of Chincoteague, VA., Kathy Crowson of Richmond, VA., brother; Charles “Bo” Crowson, Jr. of Newport News, VA., eight grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and many other family and friends, all precious to her. Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00am. Internment will follow at Lay Cemetery.
