Georgetta Whisman Harris

Georgetta Whisman Harris, age 77, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. Georgetta is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Ardon Harris; granddaughter Amelia Florence Harris; and siblings Janet Potter, Bill Whisman, and Elizabeth Timberlake. She is survived by her sons, Michael Ray Harris (Regina) of Louisville, JY and Jerry Andrew Harris (Diana) of Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren, Beatrice, Kenneth and Emma Harris of Louisville, KY and Abigail, Anna, and Isaac of Spanish Fort, A:; brother Phil Whisman and Ron Whisman of Portsmouth, OH and Paul Whisman of Columbus, OH; sisters, Louella Nelson and Linda Martin, of Springfield, OH and Carol Cyrus of Portsmouth, OH; and many other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Georgetta’s life will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A private graveside service will be held in Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
