Robert Leon Orr

FAIRHOPERobert Leon Orr, age 81, a former resident of Hartselle, AL and a current resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Robert was a graduate of Marion Military Institute and Auburn University. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a Gideon. Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his wife, Alice McDaniel Orr, son, Danny Orr and granddaughter, Emily Orr. He is survived by his children, Melony Orr (Tex) Johnson and Chris (Angie) Orr; grandchildren, Savanne (Andrew) Adams, Kendall (B. J.) Eringman and Drew (Shaye) Hudspeth; seven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org .
