Leon "Buddy" Resmondo

RESMONDO PERDIDO BEACH, ALABAMA   Leon W. “Buddy” Resmondo, Age 91, a life-long resident of Perdido Beach, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016.   Mr. Resmondo was a member of Community of Christ, Robertsdale, AL; a Naval Veteran of WWII; chartermember of Perdido Beach Fire Dept; founder of Resmondo Boat Works; a proud commercial fisherman and charter boat captain.   He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Donna Mae Resmondo and son-in-law Rhoe A. “AL” Thompson.   Survivors include a daughter, Donna Lynn Thompson; two sons, Ronald “Ronnie” (Holly) Resmondo, and Joey (Tina) Resmondo all of Perdido Beach, AL; grandchildren, Jason Haupt, Adam and Brent Resmondo and Carley Resmondo; a sister, Mearle Denham; brothers, David Resmondo, Tommy Resmondo,and Carl Resmondo; other relatives and friends.   Services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 pm until time of the service.
