Carolyn Graham

Carolyn Meador Graham, age 88, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairhope. After graduating from the University of Missouri, her first job was the band director of Fairhope High School. She then entered into the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and went onto marry Dr. Charles Graham. They lived in various locations, including New Orleans, Wagerville, Eutaw, Elba, and Greenville where Dr. Charles had pastored several churches. Later Carolyn also received a Master’s degree in Special Education. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dr. Charles Graham. She is survived by her son, Ralph (Joanna) Graham of Macomb, IL; grandchildren, Andrew and Zachary Graham, both of Macomb, IL; sister, Patricia Dier of Destin, FL; nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
