Gaston Leon Jones, Sr.

FAIRHOPE, AL  Gaston Leon Jones, Sr., age 93, a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016.  Mr. Jones was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. He was a USMC Veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a 50 year Mason.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones of Fairhope;one son, Gaston L. Jones, Jr. of Fairhope;two daughters, Linda Sparks of Millbrook,Margaret Scarborough of Mobile;two brothers, Harold Jones of Mobile,David Jones of Gulf Shores;two sisters, Verna Roberts of Gulf Shores,Betty McKenzie of Birmingham;seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren;nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Monday, June 20, 2016, at 1:00pm.   The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the service time.  Graveside services and interment will be in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort, Monday, June 20, 2016, at 2:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
