Roy Edwin Butgereit Sr.

FAIRHOPE, ALRoy E. Butgereit Sr., age 84, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, February 06, 2017. Roy was a lifelong member of Fairhope United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joey Edwin Butgereit and brother-in-law, Donald Hill. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Butgereit of Fairhope; daughters, Robi (Richard) Jones of Fairhope, Rhonda (Gary) Johnson of Prosper, TX, and Rita (Bill) Treutel of Oneonta, AL; sons, Roy (Linda) Butgereit II of Fairhope, Ray (Frankie) Butgereit of Rosinton, AL, and Richard (Kristy) Butgereit of Tallahassee, FL; eighteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Hill of Fairhope and Charlotte (Joe) Owens of Milledgeville, GA; brother, Ivan (Kiki) Butgereit of Roswell, GA; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Roy’s Life will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
