Leroy McCraney

FAIRHOPE, AL Leroy McCraney, age 78, a native of East Brewton, AL, and a resident of Fairhope, AL for over 50 years, passed away on Saturday January 16, 2010 at his residence. He was an active member of the Fairhope Church of Christ for 23 years, and served his country during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad McCraney. Mr. McCraney is survived by his wife, Elaine McCraney of Fairhope, AL; his daughters, Jackie (Pete) Yruegaz of Houston, TX; and Christina McCraney of Huntsville, AL.; son: Wade McCraney of Little Rock, AR; nine grandchildren, P.J. Yruegaz, Phillip Yruegaz, Thelma Flint, Pamela Yruegaz, Stephen Yruegaz, Scott McCraney, Kule McCraney, Miranda Dodd, Marissa Newsome; three great-grandchildren, Stephen Yruegaz, Annabell Yruegaz and Christopher Flint. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home on Tuesday January 19, 2010, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 6-8 pm.
