FAIRHOPE Agnes Miller Fleming was born February 27, 1915 in Waunakee, WI. She called Fairhope home since 1949. She passed away at the age of 95 on June 15, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Fleming, whom she was married to for sixty-five years. They raised their family on a farm outside of Fairhope. She is survived by her six children, Janet (Ed) Antoine of Fairhope, AL, Jack (Debbie) Fleming of Spanish Fort, AL, JIm Fleming (Brother Francis) of Mobile, AL, Kitty Stratis of Birmingham, AL, Patty (Don) Rohan of Gulf Breeze, FL, Mary Jane (Dale) Vines of Fairhope, AL. She has sixteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Cecil Endres, of Sauk City, WI and Dorthy (William) Meinholz of Middleton, WI. one brother-in-law, Ivan (Esther) Fleming of Reedsburg, WI and a sister-in-law, Ann Fleming of Riverside, CA; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church where she was active in the Lady's Altar Sodality, Knights of Columbus Lady's Auxiliary, and a choir member. She was active in the community with East Fairhope Home Demonstration Club, Leader of East Fairhope4-H club, member of Alabama Farm Bureau, Golden Guernsey Cattle Association, and Alabama Cattlemen's Association. She worked for the Food Nutrition Energy Pilot Program through Auburn University from 1965-1979. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope from 5:30PM until 9:00PM. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30PM. Interment will be in Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
