Margaret Peggy Zieman McCrory

FAIRHOPE Margaret Zieman "Peggy" McCrory passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 in Fairhope at the age of 67.  She was a native of Mobile and a resident of Fairhope. Peggy was a 1960 graduate of Bishop Toolen High School and remained close friends with her "Toolen Girls" throughout her life. She was an avid reader, accomplished diver, equestrian, tennis player, card player and committed friend to all who knew her. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.Peggy is survived by her son Randall C. Niemeyer of Fairhope, and by her son Michael C. Niemeyer and his wife, Staci, of Fairhope.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Niemeyer, Jr. and his wife Emily of Fairhope; Preston Niemeyer and his wife Lauren of Mobile; and Maggie Niemeyer of Fairhope. She is also survived by two stepchildren, Warren T. McCrory of Mobile and Candace Lynn McCrory of Nashville, TN.She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Bill" McCrory, and by her parents Frank and Anita Zieman.  Peggy’s family would like to thank the compassionate and loving staffs of Home Relief Services and Covenant Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 19, 2010 at 3:00 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends immediately following Mass.
