Ellen Katherine Sweeney

SWEENEY Ellen Katherine Petersen Sweeney, age 97, born Oct. 25, 1912, passed away Monday July 19, 2010 in a local nursing home with her family by her side. She has been a resident of Baldwin County since 1991 and a member of The United Methodist Church in Robertsdale. Ellen is preceded in death by her husband Capt. Charles A. Sweeney. She is survived by three daughters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:30 am from Jubilee Memorial Gardens..     In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baldwin County Humane Society.
