ELBERTA,AL Dennis C. Owens a native of St. Petersburg,FL, and a resident of Elberta, AL, died in Pensacola, FL , on Monday July 26, 2010. Mr. Owens was the owner of Weather Guard Systems, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was a resident of Elberta since 1997. Mr. Owens is survived by his wife Judy Owens of Elberta, AL; his daughter Alethea Larsen of Ashton, IL, his son Shane Larsen of Rochelle,IL; grandchildren, Jesse and Tristin Null, Seth and Rachel Larsen, ; close friends, Al and Ruth Hollingsworth , Robert and Sherry Gilliam both of Elberta,AL, Jeff and Brenda Wendling of Rochelle,IL. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview funeral home in Foley,AL, on Friday July 30, 2010 at 10:00AM. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 29, 2010 from 5-7PM.
