Ormond "Bud" Kitron Cummings

  FAIRHOPE, AL   Ormond Kitron “Bud” Cummings, age 84, a native and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010.   He was a WWII Navy Veteran and Honorary Graduate of FHS of 2002. Mr. Cummings was also a member of the Fairhope Chamber of Commerce, Fairhope Rotary Club, Elks Lodge, Fairhope Yacht Club, Fairhope United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #199, and a Mason at Greeno Lodge #598.   He is survived by his wife, Jeanne F. Cummings of Fairhope, AL, 2 sons, Chris Cummings of Gainesville, FL, and James Frederick of Fairhope, AL, 3 daughters, Genny Cummings Lasseter and her husband John, of Fairhope, AL, Karen Cummings Miller and her husband John, of Tampa, FL, Elissa F. Myers and her husband Bill, of Elizabeth City, NC, 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 2:00 pm, from Fairhope United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, 2010, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope, AL.
