Vertie Claston Brookhart

DAPHNE, ALABAMAVertie Claston Brookhart, age 87, a native of Washington County, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL died on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at a local health care facility.She is preceded in death by her first husband and  father of her children, William Green Brookhart , Sr., and her second husband, Jessie P. Butler. Survivors include  two daughters, Katharine Brookhart Crowell of Daphne, AL, Andrea Brookhart and her partner Debra K. DeAngeles of Kansas City, KS; one son, William Green  Brookhart, Jr. and  wife, Tammy Brookhart of Spanish Fort, AL; two sisters, Montiel Whisenhant  and Maureen Feagin, both of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Noel D. Schneeberger, K. Allison Schultheis, M. Katharine Crowell; five great grandchildren, Ricky and Tony Schneeberger, Sydnei, Ryen and Peyton Schultheis. She was a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church where she was very active.
