Alfred “Junie” Agee, Jr. passed away on September 30, 2026, at Thomas Hospital. He was born on July 17, 1938, in Summerdale, Alabama.
Mr. Agee lived a life marked by faith, dedication, and love for his family. He retired from Marriot Grand Hotel after 60 years of exceptional and dedicated service, a remarkable milestone that reflected his steady commitment and strong work ethic. He also served as a Deacon of the church, a role that spoke to his faith and his desire to serve others. Among the simple joys of his life, he especially loved bringing people together and having family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Agee Sr.; mother, Christina Agee; his wife, Yvonne Agee; and his brother, Augustus Agee.
He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his children, Beverly Clarke, Reggie Valrie-Agee, Alfred Agee III, Larry Agee, Carla D. Agee. He is also survived by his sisters, Alice Jean Snowden and Patricia Duncan, and by his brother, Dwight Agee. His family circle was an important part of his life, and the love shared among them will continue to carry his memory forward.
Visitation will be held on October 9, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fairhope Chapel, 19698 S Greeno Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532. A funeral service will be held on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Restoration Fellowship Ministries, 9585 Milton Jones Road, Daphne, AL 36526.
Alfred “Junie” Agee, Jr. will be remembered for his years of faithful work, his service to the church, and the warmth he brought to family gatherings. His life touched many, and his memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
