Alma Thierry Mueller

Alma Thierry Mueller, age 75, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Alma was born on September 23, 1948, to Edward Joseph Thierry, Sr. and Nina Hall Thierry and was the third of six children.

Alma was married to Leo C. Mueller III, a loving husband, and her best friend. They enjoyed traveling together and spending time with close friends and family. Alma was a retired teacher from the Mobile County Public Schools and had a passion for teaching and loved working with children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, yoga and traveling with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Joseph Thierry, Sr. and Nina Hall Thierry; her youngest sister, Suzette Viola Vickery and Alma’s beloved daughter, Laura Denise Phillips.

Alma is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Leo C. Mueller, III; son, Phillip Johnson Peterson (Tiffany) and grandchildren, Bradley Peterson and Bennett Peterson of Mobile, Alabama; four siblings, Nina Edwina Jones (Ken) of Zebulon, GA, Carolyn Ann McLaughlin (Tony) of Fairhope, Edward Joseph Thierry, Jr. (Brenda) of Theodore, AL, Mike Thierry (Ann) of Dauphin Island, AL. She also leaves behind her many beautiful nieces and nephews and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, at 10:00am. Visitation will begin at 9:00am

Graveside services will be private.
