ANDREW JACKSON “JACK” ETHERIDGE

Andrew Jackson “Jack” Etheridge, a native of Evergreen, AL and lifelong resident of Bon Secour, AL passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025.

He was a United States Army veteran. He retired from Bon Secour Fisheries and was a long-time member of Friendship Baptist Church. Jack was an avid Fisherman and loved the mountains and was a devoted Alabama fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sara Etheridge; and siblings Harvey Etheridge and Martha King.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elvis Etheridge; children, Dwayne Etheridge and Vicki (Russell) Wittner; 5 grandchildren, Andrew Etheridge, Amber (Corey) May, Kayla (Austin) Bratton, Justin English and Lacey (Blaine) Christopher; 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, AL. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church in Bon Secour, AL. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery, Foley, Alabama.

To honor Jack’s memory, donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Cross Point Baptist Church at 9790 Co Rd 65, Foley, AL 36535, for their upcoming New York Mission Trip.
