Andrew "Andy" Michael Harrison

Andrew ‘Andy’ Michael Harrison, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 75.

He attended Troy University and then worked for the City of Fairhope for 25 years as a lineman and an electrician, and he retired as Computer Systems Manager. He was also rewarded an honorary key to the City of Fairhope from the former Mayor Tim Kant.

After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He also served in the United States Army for 2 years as a Field Radio Mechanic in the Korean War.

Andy was highly intelligent, but quite the comedian, always laughing. He loved helping others and was loved by all who knew him. He had a fondness of Calla Lilies.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Lambert; father, Andrew Eli Harrison, Jr. and his son, Andrew “Josh” Joshua Harrison.

Andy is survived by his daughter, April Lynette Harrison of Fairhope; granddaughters, Andrea Wilkes-Harrison of Loxley, Briana Jade Harrison, and Emma Leigh Anderson of Prattville, AL; sisters, Cecelia “Cel” (Tim) Bailey of Birmingham, and Cindy (Allen) Turner of Citronelle, AL, a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
