Arthur James Frego Jr (Sonny, Paw) age 86, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Sonny was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born in Fairhope and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ruth, whom he has known since age 10. He was a third generation farmer. His family has continuously farmed for over 100 years. He enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his wife, children and grandchildren. He had a passion for restoring old John Deere tractors, collecting firearms and ammunitions. He loved visiting with close friends and smoking a good Cuban cigar.

Sonny is survived by his son Artie (Kim) Frego, and his daughters Kelly (Val Keith) Frego and Kim (Tony) Robison all of Fairhope, 7 grandchildren Ashley, Anthony, Mary, Leanne, Caleb, Ariel, Alex and Luke, 7 great grandchildren Keller, Collin, Ayden, Jensen, Anson, Mary Aline and Julien; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday September 22, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:00 AM, in Belforest Catholic Cemetery, Daphne, AL.
