Celebrating the Life of Audrey L. Thorenton

Audrey Lynn Thorenton, 65, full of love and kindness, passed away on September 5, 2026. Born on May 19, 1961, in Buffalo, New York. Audrey was a cherished daughter of the late Lenore McNeer. In addition she was preceded in death by father (James West) as well as her beloved brothers; Mitchel West, Douglas West, and Jason McNeer.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Robert Thorenton. Their union, spanning over 45 years, was a testament of enduring love, unwavering commitment, and partnership. Together, they built a life full of joy, compassion, and supported each other through the hard times.

Audrey’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Ryan (Caitlin) Thorenton and Taylor Thorenton; whose lives were immeasurably enriched by her guidance and unconditional love. Her grandchildren, Micah Thorenton and Jameson “JJ” Thorenton, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them; creating memories that will be treasured forever.

 In addition to her immediate family, Audrey is survived by her eldest brother, Michael West, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her family and friends will forever remember her as one of the kindest, most loving, and caring individuals they had the privilege of knowing.

As we say goodbye to Audrey, we hold her close in our hearts, grateful for the time we shared and the love she gave. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, now and always. You are so loved and will be missed dearly.
