Barbara Kay Nelson

Barbara Kay Nelson, age 76, a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Barbara was a hair stylist in Memphis, Tennessee before her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Nelson. Barbara is survived by her son, Robert Michael Nelson and Jennifer Gitchell Nelson, daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Annabeth Nelson, Abigail Nelson; sisters-in-law; Peggy Thomas, Fran Baker; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her beloved pet, Spunky. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
