Benjamin "Smokey" Wilcox, IV

Benjamin Angus “Smokey” Wilcox, IV, age 45, a resident of Elberta, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022. 

For the past 17+ years, Smokey was the successful owner/ operator of Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling. He was a proud Eagle Scout, an avid fisherman, and hunter. He lived up to the nickname of Smokey (named after his paternal grandfather) for his affinity of collecting many things. He was a hard working, nurturing man with a big heart. He was loved by all that had the opportunity to know him and will be greatly missed. 

He is survived by his wife, Mara Wilcox, Elberta; children, Ben A Wilcox, V, Elberta and Meagan N Wilcox (Austin Cooper), Elberta; parents, Benny and Connie Wilcox, Gulf Shores; sister, Mearlene Hines (Gus), Elberta; niece, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
