Betty Ann Day Hanson

Betty Ann Day Hanson, age 94, of Fairhope Al, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026. Mrs. Hanson was a native of Delraida, AL and a resident of Fairhope, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bedford F. "Dick" Hanson, one infant daughter, brother Emory E. Day. Jr and parents Emory E. and Eutye H. Day. Mrs. Hanson was a graduate of Murphy High School, Mobile, AL and attended University of Alabama Mobile Center and was an active member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope.

Survivors include her daughter Lydia Holly Blosser (Donald M.), her son Rev. Bedford F. "Buddy" Hanson (Renee S.) and eight grandchildren: Kristen, Mason, Meagan and Morgan Blosser, Michael, Cassidy (Elijah), Ruthie and Jason Hanson, two great grandchildren: Kaii Hanson and Armani Keith as well as other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Wolfe Bayview Funeral Home on Monday, March 23, 2026, with graveside service to follow at Daphne Baptist Cemetery, Daphne, AL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church "First Hope" ministry or the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
