Betty Brill Hood

Betty Brill Hood, age 76, a resident of Daphne, AL passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. Betty retired from Bell South after 30 years, worked at Walmart for 18 years and was a 32year member of the Order of Polka Dots. She is preceded in death by her husband Sam Daniel Hood, Sr. She is survived by her children, Sam Daniel Hood, Jr. of Daphne, AL, daughter, Leslie Faye Hood Carroll of Spanish Fort, AL; brother, Robert (Donna) Brill of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Alex Carroll, Julian Bosarge, Sam Daniel (Magdalyn) Hood, III of Mobile, AL, Morgan Lynn Hood of Pensacola, FL; great grandchildren, Chance Nelson, Sam Daniel Hood IV, many other relatives, and friends. Graveside service will be held from Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
