Betty Jean Robinson Gauci, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Lillian. Born on March 2, 1950, in Mobile, Betty was known for her warmth, strength, and deep commitment to her family and community.

Betty dedicated her career to the Naval Aviation Museum, where her passion for history and aviation shone through. Her service in the U.S. Airforce for four years also highlighted her dedication to her country and her unwavering spirit.

She is survived by her loving sister, Brenda Thompson, and brother, Larry Robinson. Betty also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Betty D. Robinson, and her cherished children, Misty G. Williams and son-in-law Brandon Williams, along with her stepson, Andrew Gauci III, and stepdaughter, Angela Borasky. A family-oriented individual, she took great pride in her grandchildren, including Alyssa Williams, Brandon Williams Jr., Ryan Gauci, Megan Gauci, Kristi Comtois, Danielle Gay, Samantha Turner, and John Turner. Betty will also be missed by her nieces and nephews: Candy Cronnon, Christy Charles, Helen Robinson, David Chapel Jr., Stanley Brown, and Joe Koskivich Jr.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving parents, Stanley F. Robinson and Myrtice Lawhorn Robinson, as well as her sister, Diane Chapel. The memory of her kindness, her laughter, and the impact she made throughout her life will forever be cherished by those who knew her. She will be remembered as a dedicated family member and a compassionate friend who touched the lives of many.

Graveside Service will be held at Gilley Memorial Cemetery in Elberta, AL. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00am.
